Our History

What started as a generous show of support from a few fans quickly turned into a worldwide phenomenon as donations poured in across the globe to Oishei Children’s Hospital in the wake of the November 8, 2020 Buffalo Bills game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The establishment of the Patricia Allen Fund in support of critical care at Oishei Children’s Hospital has evolved into a community of donors and supporters all uniting for one reason – getting kids back to being kids.

For Caleb graphic

When Caleb was little, he had difficulty moving around. He just couldn’t walk on his own, no matter how hard he tried. And when Caleb’s younger brother began to achieve milestones that Caleb had not, the family came to Oishei Children’s Hospital to find answers. At OCH, Caleb was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and ataxia. Here physicians were able to perform a spinal surgery on Caleb that brought increased mobility to his legs.

And before he left OCH, Caleb was able to stand unassisted.
